Dunlop Sport Maxx Race 2 has been approved by Porsche as original equipment for road use on the new 911 GT2 RS in sizes 265/35 ZR 20 ( 99Y) XL and 325/30 ZR 21 (108Y) XL.
The successor to the Sport Maxx Race was developed together with Porsche to meet the very high performance requirements of the new 911 GT2 RS: excellent performance in dry conditions and lap times great for drivers looking for high performance.

After intense testing sessions on the Nordschleife circuit in Germany and on the Porsche at Nardò the Sport Maxx Race 2 has been homologated as original equipment for the 911 GT2 RS.
Amazing lap times
Adherence and steering precision are two key aspects to achieving amazing lap times. By optimizing tire structure, Dunlop managed to balance the pressure distribution across the entire footprint, giving the driver more cornering feedback and improved steering precision.
The SportMaxx Race 2 features bridges between grooves, which increase the rigidity of the tire. The 'LightWeight Reinforcement Structure Design', a design with a light reinforcement structure, allows engineers to use less rubber, creating a stiffer and light tire while keeping its total weight to a minimum.

The newly developed Sport Maxx Race 2 is made with an exclusive compound inspired by car racing, a crucial element to improve high performance driving.
