Mercedes AMG E63 vs Cadillac CTS-V: This comparison can surprise you

The new Mercedes-AMG E63 is looking for the best super-saloon crown, but first has to have a discussion with the Cadillac CTS-V.

The Cadillac CTS-V is simply one of the best super salons you can buy if you live on the right side of the Atlantic. Offering 640 hp from its supercharged V8, this Caddy is still the horsepower champion in its class, but this is not another American right hero.

The latest Mercedes AMG E63, on the other hand, delivers 604 horsepower from a 4.0 liter twin-turbo V8 that is aimed at an all-wheel drive that mixes the torque between the axles all the time to ensure all horses will reach the asphalt

AMG has also added the Drift now known, which completely deactivates the front axle, allowing the driver to destroy the rear tires in minutes. Of course, the disadvantage of this technology is the weight, because the new E63 has come a lot harder than the older Cadillac.

So it seems that the new and luxurious German super saloon could have a difficult time in this fight against the lighter American lighter. To find out what's happened, watch the latest Head Up 2 Head movie below.
