Mercedes GLC 350e PHEV priced at $ 49,990 in the U.S.

Mercedes would have dropped the diesel engines in the United States, but the hybrid plug-in model continues to grow as the company released price information for the GC 350e. this summer and a list on the company's website show that prices will start at $ 49,990. This is $ 7,940 more than GLC 300 4MATIC, but the crossover is eligible for a federal tax of $ 4,406, which lowers the difference to $ 3,480.

Instead, buyers will receive a beautifully equipped crossover that will contain LED lighting units, windscreen wipers, rain sensors and a power lift. The model also has a glass pane, a rear chamber and an 18 inch alloy rim.

Going into the cabin, the drivers will sit behind a three-spoke multifunction steering wheel and be surrounded by brown ash wood trim. Among the most important features are a 14-horsepower driver's seat, a two-zone automatic climate control system and a 7 inch infotainment system

Power is provided by a hybrid hybrid propulsion consisting of – a four-cylinder engine, a 2.0-liter turbocharger engine, an electric motor and a lithium-ion battery pack. This configuration allows the crossover to produce a combined power of 320 hp (238 kW) and torque of 559 Nm. In terms of performance, the all-wheel drive can accelerate from 0-60 km / h in just 6.2 seconds.

Mercedes did not issue fuel economy data but the crossover battery can be recharged in less than 2.5 hours. The model also has a number of eco-friendly features, including a haptic acceleration pedal that boosts ECO mode twice to let drivers know they can "save fuel without cutting off gas performance." GLC also has a radar-based regenerative braking system that automatically adjusts to recover as much energy as possible.
